You Aint Seen Nothing Yet

Glenn Hoddle believes his Wolves side have yet to hit their peak and has warned his rivals their best is yet to come. Speaking earlier today Hoddle said

"I believe it will come. Our best hasn't happened yet, thats my opinion, and people can come back at the end of the season and tell me wether i was right or wrong."

Commenting on the clubs current injury list he added

"We are down to the barest knuckle right now, but hopefully we can strengthen when the window opens in January."

Accepting the importance of the coming glut of fixtures he said

"We need a good Christmas, but it is virtually impossible for any team to pick up maximum points over that period because of how many games there are in such a short space of time."

"Nothing is won now and we have to be there by the end of the season to make anything count."

After Dave Jones' Cardiff's victory over Ipswich last night Wolves slipped another place down the league but Hoddle pointed out that in The Championship, teams only need to string together a couple of good results to climb the table

"When we played Derby and won 3-0 then we went fourth in the League but now weve had two draws then we're down to tenth.Thats the way things go but there are still 25 games to go."
