The game with QPR, due to be played at Molineux on the Bank Holiday has been put back to the Tuesday 30th August, with a 7.45 kick off.

The Police had asked for the game to be moved, but it was Wolves who applied pressure on the Football League to move the game and it was a decision which was greeted with glee by Wolves Officials.

Wolves Secretary Richard Skirrow told wow "Manager Glenn Hoddle was keen to give the team an extra day between games, particularly as QPR have a televised Friday night fixture at home to Sheffield. Wednesday, rather than playing on the Saturday.

"We apologise to supporters who were looking forward to coming to Molineux on Bank Holiday Monday and hope that the rearrangement will not inconvenience them too much."

However the move in game does mean that Nigerian International Seyi George Olofinjana will miss the game due to being away on International duty.
