Wolverhampton Wanderers Masters have tonight been crowned 'Midland Masters Champions of 2004.'

The Wolves side broke two records on the night. Paul Jones became the first ever player to represent a Masters side whilst being a full International and playing in the Premier League in his previous game.

Secondly, Wolverhampton Wanderers won the final with the biggest score in Masters History.

Wolves beat Birmingham City 8-0 in a final which saw four goals scored either side of the break.

Wolves finished second in the group stage after drawing 2-2 with Birmingham. That followed a crushing 3-0 win over Aston Villa before Wolves drew their final group game 2-2 with Rivals West Brom.

Mark Atkins walked away with the Golden Moment Award. His neat finish against Birmingham in the first group game won him the award whilst Don Goodman won the player of the tournament.

Wolves will now play in the grand final in Sheffield on September 5th.
