MANCHESTER CITY hold the key to any Wolves survival. However, following the 2-2 draw at Birmingham City on Sunday, relegation is one step closer.

MANCHESTER CITY hold the key to any Wolves survival. However, following the 2-2 draw at Birmingham City on Sunday, relegation is one step closer.

For Wolves to survive in their first season in the Barclaycard Premiership it would take an amazing sequence of results for it to be made possible.

Wolves (29pts) are currently six points behind Manchester City who sit on 35 points in 17th place. 

Both Wolves and Manchester City have three games to play so the maximum points total Wolves could get should they win all three games would be 38 points. As Man City sit on 35 points, just one win would take Keegan's men to 38 points and as Wolves have an abysmal goal difference, Wolves would be effectively relegated.

Should Manchester City fail to win any of their games and lose at least one of the final three, then Wolves could clinch survival by winning all three, hoping Leicester do not better Wolves results in the final three games and hope Leeds win no more than one of their final three games.

It's all very confusing, but to be blunt, Wolves are going down.
