Lescott`s season is over, before the young star has kicked a ball in
this Premiership Season after a double knee operation in the summer. Joleon
Lescott had operations on both knees in pre-season and it was feared the
Player Of The Season for last term would miss the beggining of the first
ever Barclaycard Premiership Season. Those
fears were proved correct, but today the Club have announced that
Lescott will be out for the rest of this season. "We
are very pleased with the way things went with the operation and it
looks like the problem Joleon has been suffering with has now been
sorted out, although we are keen to ensure his recovery takes all the
time it needs" Said Wolves Physio Barry Holmes. Wolves
Manager Dave Jones said "If it is that the surgical team and
everyone else involved in Jo`s rehabilitation can guarantee that he is
100% recovered and fit before the end of the season then we will look at
things again, but as far as we are concerned, he probably won`t be
