The likes of Leeds United, Everton, Spurs and Charlton, so far, have all been stuck down the bottom of the Premiership with Wolves, today they were in action, but sadly, we are still bottom.

Spurs were just two points above Wolves going into todays game, however after a spirited performance away at next week`s opponents Manchester City the London club are now 3 points above us.

Both sides had good chances to win the game but Spurs will be only happy with a point as they look to announce a new Manager.

A Steve Watson Hat-Trick has sent Leeds United into the Premierships relegation zone, just 3 points above Wolves.

Everton ran into a 3-0 half time league, Watson bagged a first half brace and Duncan Ferguson added his effort to the goal tally after 39 Minutes.

Steve Watson scored the only goal of the second half to complete his hat-trick after 52 minutes.

Charlton beat Liverpool 3-2 after an epic end-to-end game. Goals from Lisbie (hat trick) for Charlton, Owen and Smicer  for Liverpool ended the tie in Charltons favour.

Wolves opening day opponents Blackburn Rovers lost 2-0 to a hungry Fulham side.

Boa Morte and Saha scored the goals for Colemans men in a one-sided affair.
