 Dave Jones is reportedly planning to bring in England U-19 Coach Stuart Baxter has his new Assistant Manager.

 Dave Jones has been tangled in talks with former Manchester United assistant and Leeds Manager Brian Kidd.

 However Brian Kidd is still trying to negotiate a settlement with Leeds and Jones now appears to have lost interest in Kidd and now moves his intentions to former AIK Stockholm coach Stuart Baxter.

 Baxter has family connections with Wolves. His father played for the Gold and Black for 14 years and the current England U-19 coach was heavily linked with the managerial position at Wolves after the sacking of Colin Lee.

 At the time Lee was sacked, Baxter told Umbro.com ‘‘For family and football reasons I would be honoured to work for Wolves.’’

 ‘‘It would be one of the proudest things I could do and I would be interested for many reasons."

 Jones is searching for a new assistant after he sacked John Ward before the start of the season.
