Former Wolves, Liverpool and Blackpool legend Emlyn Hughes has recently undergone brain surgery to to remove a brain tumour.

Author: Scott Cooper Former Wolves, Liverpool and Blackpool legend Emlyn Hughes has recently undergone brain surgery to to remove a brain tumour. The former Liverpool skipper who collected two European Cup winners medals with Liverpool was admitted to the Sheffield Royal Hallamshire hospital on Monday to undergo the operation. Thankfully the operation was a success however Hughes will still need to undergo Radiotherapy once he has recovered from the trauma of the Operation. Emlyn`s family have expressed their "immense thanks" to the medical staff who helped the England legend through his surgery at the hospital.
