With last years spectacular failure still fresh in the minds of the Players who don the Gold and Black shirt week in, week out many have decided to keep very quiet about the current league position at Molineux, insisting nothing is certain yet.

Alex Rae is leading the secret charge to the play-offs, insisting that nobody is talking about winning anything just yet.

 Talking to the E&S Rae said 

"We don't talk about promotion, No-one has even mentioned it. We are not even in the play-offs yet, although promotion is the objective for everyone.

"As you get older you learn not to upset the apple cart and you learn to do your talking on the pitch.

"Ipswich and Norwich have won their games in hand and until it's mathematically certain that we're in the play-offs you won't hear any of us crowing about it."

 Last season Wolves were accused of boasting, as many players and fans alike believed Wolves had done enough.

 

"Other teams are doing their talking but we're concentrating on staying focused," said Rae.

"We want to get as many points as we can so that we can get in the play-offs and hit them running.

"Last season we picked up a few knocks and players were running on empty. This time we are stronger.

"The confidence is higher and that is reflected around the place."
