Denis Irwin and Paul Ince have both won massive awards as the season comes to its climax.
Both Denis Irwin and Paul Ince have claimed massive awards as the season draws to a close and Wolves hunt for that all important Play-Off spots.
Both Irwin and Ince have been named in the "Team Of The Decade" Awards in which over three-quarters of a Million people voted in. Fans across the World registered votes to form teams to celebrate ten years of the Premiership. The votes made up two teams, an overseas team and a domestic team. Irwin was part of the overseas team and Ince was part of the domestic team.
Paul Ince told WOW "it’s an honour to be named in this team and I would like to thank all the fans who have voted for me. It would be nice if we could follow this up now with promotion – we have the players here to do it."
Meanwhile Irwin Said "I’m delighted to have been picked, it is a great honour. I’m still plugging away and enjoying my football here at Wolves."
The Teams are as Follows:
Domestic: David Seaman, Gary Neville, Stuart Pearce, Tony Adams, Steve Bruce, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Paul Ince, Alan Shearer, Michael Owen.
Overseas: Peter Schmeichel, Dan Petrescu, Denis Irwin, Marcel Desailly, Jaap Stam, Fredrick Ljungberg, Robert Pires, Patrick Vieira, Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, Thierry Henry.
