Wolves were dealt a blow as ten goal striker Nathan Blake was ruled out of action due to having dislocated his toes. With the news that Nathan Blake could be out for a little while longer than first though, Wolves manager Dave Jones will start the hunt for a loan striker to cover the Welsh hitman.

Adam Proudlock and Cedric Rousell, already on loan, and with FA rules both cannot be recalled at this present time. So DJ will have to look elsewhere for a striker.

"Under League rules we can't consider recalling Adam Proudlock until his months loan at Tranmere is up so we are possibly looking to bring someone in,We do have a target." said Dave Jones speaking to the official site

Nathan's injury is worse than first thought and a major blow to Wolves chances of climbing the table , Blake limped out of the red hot atmosphere of the Portsmouth game as was revealed to have dislocated his toes in a challenge.

"The news has come as a real disappointment and a surprise to Nathan as he felt he was getting better," says manager Dave Jones.
"But we were told the bad news yesterday and now he's going to be out longer than we thought." added Jones
