A tricky game awaited Wolves tonight and for the opening 15 minutes it
seemed that Wolves poor start to games would continue
Wolves will be hoping that the recent run of results continues against league leaders Portsmouth at Molineux tonight.
Wolves get out of jail free card at Watford saturday keeps Wolves form still bang on , Wolves have gone 4 without defeat 3 wins and 1 draw and will the bell toll for Portsmouth tonight and make it 4 wins from 5 games.
Wolves have one injury worry from saturday , Colin Cameron will be out of action for 3 to 4 weeks after breaking his toe in saturdays game he joins Mo Camara on the sidelines , those 2 are the only injured players at Wolves now thanks to the sucessful returns of a fit again Mark Kennedy and Keith Andrews.
Both players have been passed fit and could be included in the squad tonight which is a massive boost for Wolves , apart from Camerons injury Wolves should field the same side from the weekend.
Portsmouth's first home defeat of the season wasn't really as bad result wise but the game cost manager Harry Redknapp some key players , the pitch saturday was at best a joke and Redknapp slammed the ref for letting the game start.
Gianluca Festa was a big casulty and the defender will now be missing for 3 months with medial ligament damage to his knee , also Arjan De Zeeuw who collided with Festa is a major doubt for tonights trip to Molineux , also out is Paul Ritchie.
Harry Redknapp will be bringing only 14 fit first team players and 2 reserve players tonight, and that will encourage Wolves bigtime.
The last encounter between the two clubs was a last minute Dean Sturridge strike in which Wolves won the game 3-2.
Danger Man - Paul Merson
Paul Merson will be the one to watch tonight , still young in his legs the main is the main reason Portsmouth have been steamrolling teams , many people say you stop Merson you stop Pompey we'll have to wait and see.
