Norwood Seals Player of the Month Award for October

After almost ten days of voting, James Norwood has made it another double by winning the Player of the Month award for October in addition to his Goal of the Month win..... 

 

 

 

 

 

It's a double success or the second month in a row for Rovers striker James Norwood who as well winning our Goal of the Month and Player of the Month award for September has now also won the same two awards for the month of October as well!

Despite not winning any of our individual match awards for Man of the Match during October, you have voted that Norwood, who scored one goal and played in all but one of Rovers' eight games in October was your Player of the Month yet again.

As you can see from the poll below, Norwood polled 27% of the vote to see off the competition with Jay Harris and Liam Ridehalgh in joint second place with 18% of the vote each.  Four further players polled 9% of the vote (Andy Mangan, Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Lois Maynard and Scott Davies) with none of the other contenders polling any votes this time around.Thanks to all who voted in the latest Player of the Month poll.

Very surprised at that, I've been very unimpressed with him in the last few home games (tho to be fair I haven't seen him in an away game in October).

I was a little surprised myself but I still think the abuse he's been getting is equally as surprising and for me he is still one of our best players in the Squad!

Hopefully he can have a good November with loads of goals and win it again in early December!

He started to get a good understanding with Mangan up until he got injured so hopefully they can rekindle that when Mangan gets back to fitness
