The latest issue of the Tranmere Rovers Fanzine ‘Give Us An R’ is now on sale and once again we at Total Tranmere have trawled through its pages to analyse it and bring you a sneak preview of what you might find inside it’s once again colourful cover pages.

Saturday's away game at Leyton Orient saw the launch of yet another edition of the excellent Tranmere Rovers Fanzine ‘Give Us An R' and once again it is full of interesting snippets about all things Tranmere.

This issue (Issue 50) celebrates a half century of issues and has yet another striking front cover featuring another picture from the pre-season friendly at Marine back in July, with Bas Savage the subject of the photo this time around.

Once again there are more reports from recent Rovers away trips with the Leicester City, Huddersfield, Peterborough and Carlisle Utd games all featured in great detail.

Following on from the excellent report in a recent issue on the triumph of the Rovers team in the Mersey Masters, there is another four page report, this time on the Masters Final at the N.E.C in Birmingham in early Spetember which despite Rovers losing in the semi-final, was another excellent day out.

This issue also has a big link to our very own Total Tranmere as it features an interview with site owner Deadly Submarine about what it means to be a Tranmere Fan but also carries a big plug for the Website itself which can only be good for the Site in the future.

Total Tranmere's Deadly Submarine is Interviewed in the Latest Issue

The second and final part of the story of Rovers Anglo-Italian Cup exploits in Reggina make for a great finish to this issue to accompany the usual regular feature from The Paddock Man whose views in this issue I have to disagree with (again) bar the final paragraph which

At just £2.00, ‘Give Us An R' is a worthwhile purchase for any avid Rovers' Fan so if you have perhaps thought about buying it before but never got round to it, why not make this issue your first one?

We can highly recommend it as a publication written by fans for fans and with no connection in its content to the Club itself, giving views that you may not otherwise see in a matchday programme.

It can be bought at all Rovers home matches from Dave who positions himself on the left hand side of the road entrance to the Main Car Park at Prenton Park on the bit of waste ground on the opposite side of the entrance to the Mersey Clipper Pub (Dave is usually standing just under the Board which shows the next few matches that are due to be played at Prenton Park).

Dave is also at almost all Rovers away matches during the season, standing somewhere near the away turnstiles selling the Fanzine so with two home games coming up in the next four days, why not find him at Prenton Park on Tuesday at the Cheltenham game or on Friday night at the Crewe game.

No doubt Dave will also be at the Stockport game a week on Tuesday and at MK Dons on the 1st November so there is plenty of chances to pick up your copy - you won't regret it in our opinion.
