I've never seen any trouble at the footy in person.

The only time I was anywhere near any was when my uncle went to see why the traffic wasn't moving and was beat up by a few Liverpool supporters at the '95 Coca Cola cup Final - Bolton v Liverpool.

by far the worst was the propsect of going to Upton Park back in the 70s, Turned out to be a pretty big myth. Tough, but but not as scary once youd done it once. Stamford bridge held a rep, that was a laugh but luton town, going under the tressel, getting rocks and bricks rained on you from above. The Hawthornes was and still is a joke, the Naughty fourty in stoke....tough guys, The red army (old trafford), just because of their numbers, I remember being in the Kop at Anfield with a villa shirt on about 30 or 40 of us, not scary, not that the villa were at the Holte either, it was to enormous, but the witton warriors, we took appart who ever went into the away end (doug ellis now), and the steamers and c cfrew held up the Holte. Shef Wed back in the days were bad boys, Everton were pansys, Forest had a rep as big as the river trent, they folded quickly when the numbers turned even.Selhurst park....Bad days there. St. Andrews , had its moments, Walsall easy to small, Molineux, very angry crowd. Bristol City and Bradford, were bad in the days. Hate to say it but I did enjoy those days 50 now, But hey, what about taking apart Blackpool on those once a year away games.....Green street....nice ficton movie done by them for them.

I remember my dad telling me about getting chased outside Villa park, but that's all he said about it.
