Black Cats 'keeper Marton Fulop says he still feels his side were robbed of a point at the weekend. The Hungarian International saw James Milner bundle Aston Villa's opening goal over the line with his arm. And his mood was not improved when Villa were awarded a penalty for a foul on the very edge but outside of Sunderland's penalty area.

And was even booked for what appeared to be absolutely nothing when standing on his line awaiting Gareth Barry's penalty kick.

On both occasions he remonstrated furiously with referee Mike Dean but all to no avail.

Fulop said: "Obviously I was closest to it and I'm sure that the ball hit his arm. "The goal should not have stood and it's the difference between one point and no points.

"It's disappointing because we felt that we deserved a draw.

We could even have beaten Villa had the referee not been so blind.

I've seen this whinge bandied about, he put it over the line with his arm, he may have done, but only because he was fouled, so the other option was to send the defender off and give us a penalty, you can't have it both ways!

But a penalty could've been saved - at least there's a chance instead of the ref bottling it because it's a team in the top five vs a team in the bottom half.
