Just a quick review of a book I'm currently reading. It's called Match of my Life. Basically it's 12 SAFC players accounts of the match of their lives. The book includes players from the 20's to current day, Bobby Gurney to Niall Quinn, Charley Hurley to Marco Gabbiadini and many more of your Roker favourites.

Though I haven't finished the book yet I can tell you that it makes a great read, it's both informational and exciting; managing to capture the atmosphere of the games described by the players.

A highlight of the book, and many a Sunderland supporters life, must be Gary Rowell's account of his infamous hat trick scored against Newcastle at St.James Park in a game in which he single handedly ripped the Mags apart.

It is in my opinion well worth the read and would make a perfect gift for any Sunderland Supporter as well as a perfect collectors item to treat yourself too.
