Wilshere Could Face FA Rap After Twitter Comments

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere could be in trouble with the FA after posting messages on Twitter shortly after Newcastle made an amazing comeback to hold his side to a 4-4 draw. The 19 year old is said to have removed the post shortly afterwards but it is still available.
He Tweeted;
“Inconsistent refereing needs to stop."
“Its killing the game. If Diaby goes..whats the difference between that and Nolan on our keeper!??”
Just last month the FA charged the then Liverpool striker Ryan Babel for using the social networking site to publish a mock up of referee Howard Webb in a Manchester United shirt.
He was fined £10,000 and given a warning.
Roger Burden, Chairman of the Football Association Regulatory Commission said;
"Social network sites like Twitter must be regarded as being in the public domain.
"All participants need to be aware, in the same way as if making a public statement in other forms of media, that any comments would be transmitted to a wider audience," added Burden.
"It is their responsibility to ensure only appropriate comments are used."
Wilshere, of course, failed to mention the number of decisions which wrongly went in Arsenal's favour.

The thing there is no comment about Best disallowed goal when it was on-side, Also during the game I could see Wilshere moaning at the ref about Barton!
imo wilshire really showed me what he is today. A little gobby, no good, whinging, moaning pr!ck. Thats what I thought of him during the game and then these comments just make it worse. The FA should come down hard on him after all the fuss over the ryan babel incident.

There's no way you can blame the referee for losing a 4-0 lead, I suspect he's more angry with himself than the ref.

Nolan was reckless with his confrontation of Szycyzeny; an arm around the neck is never going to go without any form of punishment.
I think we were lucky Nolan only got a yellow - if the referee didn't include it in his match report then I am certain that the FA would have taken action.

agree nolan was lucky. its not the part of the match i'll remember though, we all get unlucky with refs. tiote missed three games recently for a tackle some players would have gotten away with on another day.

I think it'd be hilarious given Fabregas's recent comments towards officials, coupled with a number of Arsenal fans suggesting that the referee was in Newcastles pocket. Imagine that - the player plotting their downfall being an Arsenal player

To me he's shown he's a kid, and a kid who can be mouthy. No surprise there. His teammates and manager will agree that it was not the ref who coughed up a 4-goal lead.
I also think he shouldn't be reprimanded on principle, as what's the harm?
As a matter of precedent,they'll say they aren't disciplining him because he didn't question the ref's integrity, only his consistency. Which is true, to be fair. BUT, I don't think he would have been disciplined unless he did the exact same thing as Babel and forced the authorities hand, as he is in the official annointed-England-regular/FA clique.
It did look like Rosicky tried to play Best onside for his first (not given) goal. Alas, he failed and does not get his payoff.

yeah, I am still hoping that he won't get retrospectively suspended for that. you never know with the FA they might just charge him with violent conduct! at one point he practically had Szczesny in a headlock..

Also, the comparison to the Diaby sending off is unfounded. If you watch the clip of the red card, the ref clearly makes a gesture of counting two fouls on his hand. This is to suggest 1 for the Barton offense, and a second for the Nolan shove.
