After extending his loan at the Imps, Richard Logan has set a target of upsetting his former employers on boxing day. Boston visit Sincil Bank on Boxing Day in the first big derby of the season for the Imps and their former employee, Richard Logan is intent on doing them no favours.

Logan scored the winner at Oxford last night and made it 2 in 2 for the Peterborough striker. He has impressed many fans during his month on loan at Sincil Bank and many will be delighted to hear that he has extended his deal at Sincil Bank. This of course means he joins in the Imps' Christmas period which sees local derbies against Boston, Grimsby and Mansfield.

He told the Echo "I was glad my loan spell was extended because I am really enjoying myself at Lincoln because I am playing regularly. Not only that, it has given me the opportunity to face Boston and, hopefully, I can get my third goal in three matches. It's a massive game for both clubs because, following last night's win, we leapfrogged them in the table. We probably go into the derby knowing whoever wins could open up a gap, so there is a lot at stake - as well as county pride. It would be nice to go out there and score the winner, that is for sure."

Logan played for Boston during the 2002/3 season when he was on loan from Ipswich and he turned them from relegation battlers to midtable hopefuls. He also scored the equaliser against the Imps when they drew 1-1 with City on New Years Day.

Many believe that the Imps will try to make Logan a permanent fixture at Sincil Bank, however, any deal would likely include a clause saying that he can't play when the 2 clubs meet on January 21st.
