Oldham manager Ronnie Moore has told Sunday newspapers that he wants to bring more players to the Latics. Amoungst his reported targets is Lincoln midfielder, Peter Gain. Several papers reported that Lincoln's longest serving player had caught the eye of the ex Rotherham boss.

The midfielder is Lincoln's longest serving player after signing from Tottenham Hotspur in 1999 and is arguably Lincoln's most influencial player. Ronnie Moore was believed to be chasing him for Rotherham before he was controversially sacked by the Millers.

If Lincoln win promotion on Saturday then they will be in the same division as Oldham who came close to being the first ex-Premiership squad to be relegated to the 4th level of English football but a last day win at Bradford saved them.

Gain's contract, like many at City at the end of June and this rumour ismore convincing that a lot of others flying around the club.
