If results go City's way at the weekend, the Imps could only need a draw from their final 3 games. With the Imps 5 points clear of 8th placed Northampton, it is highly possible that come 5pm on Saturday, the Imps would be 8 points ahead of 8th with only 9 to play for.
Please not that the below information is based on what could happen if City beat Macclesfield on Saturday and draws aren't taken into the equation and come 5pm Saturday, the Imps could be anywhere between 2 and 8 points clear of 8th place.
Darlo, Wycombe and Northampton all win : Obviously the Imps still 5 points clear with 9 to play for
Darlo and Wycombe win but Northampton lose : 7 points clear of Wycombe and 8 points clear of Northampton meaning only 2 draws to guarantee a playoff place
Darlo and Northamoton win but Wycombe lose : Still 5 points clear of 8th
Northampton and Wycombe win but Darlo lose : 5 clear of Northampton, 7 Darlo and Wycombe meaning 2 draws will do again.
Only Darlo win with the other two losing : 8 points clear of Northampton, 10 clear of Wycombe meaning that only Darlo and Northampton can overtake us
Only Northampton win and the other two lose: 7 poiints clear of Darlo in 8th,
Only Wycombe win with the other two losing : 7 points clear of Darlo in 8th.
All 3 lose : 8 points clear of Northampton in 8th meaning that we only need to a point to get a playoff place.
