Jake Sheridan was one of David Holdsworth's first signings as Lincoln City manager after signing for Eastwood Town. Despite an inconsistent first season, he would establish himself as a regular from that point onwards.

Signed From : Eastwood Town

Debut : 26th November 2011 vs Ebbsfleet

Midfielder Jake Sheridan spent much of his early career in the non-league at Dunkirk before a move to League Two Notts County. He spent two years at Meadow Lane, barely avoiding relegation on two occasions. The first season there he was a regular, but appearances during the second year were harder to come by and he left for Tamworth.

A four year spell at Tamworth saw mixed success for the club and they flirted with relegation on several occassions, but Sheridan was a semi-regular in the side. He had hoped to extend his deal beyond the 2010/11 club but Marcus Law refused to give him a new contact and he left The Lamb.

A move to Conference North side Eastwood saw the midfielder excel and despite the fact he was in a struggling squad, he stood out and signed for the Imps in November 2011. He would go on to have an inconsistent for season for City, often struggling to adapt to the Conference Football, but he was a stand out player in his second year due to his tireless work rate and his refusal to give up on lost causes.

He signed a new contract in the summer of 2013.
