As one of the 100 that saw McCallum's brilliant performance against the Imps for Hereford in February 2010, I was extremely pleased we had signed him but he turned out to be a bit of a disappointment, only having a good game once every six/seven weeks.

Much like Mustapha Carayol, I was excited by the prospect of McCallum playing for City after seeing how well he played against the Imps for Hereford in 2009/10, however, much like Carayol he turned out to be a bit of a disappointment for me.

He didn't start the season well but did do a good job in the middle of the season, however, when the team started struggling towards the end we needed people who would stand up and be counted, and all McCallum came out with was that the players were scared to play at Sincil Bank because apparantly the fans put too much pressure on them. At that moment I lost all respect for McCallum.

To be honest McCallum hasn't even been that good. He came to us with a cloud over his position, even some Hereford fans weren't sure whether he was a striker or a midfielder, and the answer seems to be neither. He doesn't score enough to be considered a striker, he doesn’t create that many goals and the worst part of all is that he quite clearly thinks he is better than he actually is. The amount of times he has wasted good opportunities by being selfish is beyond ridiculous. He did however score arguably the best goal of the season with his volley against Wycombe.

He is under contract for next season and may have a bit more luck against non-league teams, but realistically isn't good enough, hence why he has been made available for transfer.

Wins my vote for best goal of the season but also fattest player of the season and most inappropriate wearing of fancy football boots in the history of the game. Hope someone comes in for him but can't see it if we're demanding a fee. Yet another waste of money from the kn*b from Norwich.
