Clark Keltie joined City in 2009/10 and during his spell he had a long spell on the sidelins before getting his chance earlier this year. He became injured but did return later on in the season but ultimately didn't do enough to earn a new deal, being released in May 2011.

Clark spent the majority of the season injured and to be honest, when he came back he wasn't great. Towards the end of the 2009/10 season he had been instrumental in helping Davide Somma scoring goals and was one of the unsung heroes towards the end of last year, however, without the runs of Somma his passing seemed to be very inaccurate this season.
I think Keltie is one of those midfielders who could be very good but has yet to show consistency, which is always a major issue when it comes to midfielders. The midfield is there to create chances for the strikers and just one assist in twenty appearances this season is not a brilliant statistic for a midfielder who is apparantly a good passer.
Don't get me wrong, we could do far worse than Keltie but it didn't come as a major surprise that he didn't actually get offered a new contract. At the end of the day he didn't really do enough to earn a new deal and just one assist all season from a midfielder who is apparantly an excellent passer tells it's own story.
