The inevitable has finally happened, a manager has realised that Lenell John-Lewis is not good enough to play for Lincoln. Chris Sutton has told the goal-shy striker that his future is away from Sincil Bank after putting him and Shane Clarke on the transfer list. Danny Hone has also been put on the loan list.

For a striker, John-Lewis has a pitiful goalscoring record. He has scored once this season, at Barnet in January, and that had been his first goal since December 2008. Those two goals equate to exactly 1/4 of the League goals he has scored, totally 8 in 61 League appearances. Chris Sutton did initially say that he thought that LJL was a talented player in training, but much like Stefan Oakes realised, if you're not doing it on the pitch, you're out.

Shane Clarke on the other hand has been a regular in the first team. Only Burch, Hughton, Kerr and Swaibu have played more times this season than Shane Clarke, which goes to show that he must have something......the only problem is that most of the fans can't see what that something is. I'm not going to bash Clarke because, unlike John-Lewis, he does actually try. He is a bit rubbish but at least he tries.

Danny Hone's fall from grace also continues. After being a regular starter under Jackson, he has found himself on the fringes since Sutton took charge and there were times when we had no centre backs other than him left and he still wasn't getting a game.
