Thousands attend Keith's funeral

Lincoln Cathedral was at near full capacity for Keith Alexander's funeral. Some of the biggest names in the game, as well as former Imps and the squad of Macclesfield Town were amongst the mounrers on Monday afternoon.

At least four Premiership managers were present with Brian Laws, David Moyes, Mick McCarthy and Martin O'Neill spotted by those in the crowd, as well as big name former players and pundits, such as Garth Crooks, Chris Kamara and Les Ferdinand. Virtually everyone connected with Macclesfield Town was there, as well as a lot of Keith Alexander's team from the 2002-2006 period.

They joined several several thousand mourners at the Cathedral that included Keith's family and friends, fans from several clubs other than the Imps (including a full coach from Macclesfield Town) and various others.

It was the chance for the fans to finally say goodbye to Keith Alexander properly.

Rest in Peace.
