One in and two out at Sincil Bank

Transfer deadline day has seen three deals reached to get one player in and ship two players out. Chris Fagan is leaving for Spain, Aaron Brown has had his contract terminated by mutual termination and Steven Lennon has joined on loan from Rangers.

Fagan joined the Imps in the summer from Glenn Hoddle's Football Academy and was quickly touted as an excellent young striker, but he has never really backed up that claim as he often went through games without seemingly doing anything. Infact, none of his goals were vital as removing them wouldn't have changed the result.

Maybe it was because he's not actually that good, or maybe he just needs time and space to actually do something, something that you don't get in League Two. He is set to join Jerez Industrial, a team two tiers below the Spanish La Liga.

Aaron Brown is also leaving Sincil Bank, however, he is leaving permanently after his contract has been mutually terminated. It's a strange saying when you say mutually terminated. I can't imagine Aaron Brown being delighted that he won't have a club any more, but oh well.

Inbound is a young Scottish striker called Steven Lennon. Sutton has signed him on loan until the end of the season with the option to make it permanent. He has played three games for the Glasgow side but has otherwise had opportunities hard to come by.

Lennon has played 9 times (for 3 clubs) and has yet to score

He is prolific at reserve level

So was Ollie Ryan??


Either this is a masterstroke or a risk
