Ex-Imp in charge at Kidderminster

Kidderminster Harriers have appointed John Finnigan as their caretaker manager following Mark Yates' departure to Cheltenham Town. The midfielder joined Kidderminster in the summer after seven years at Cheltenham, it almost seems ironic he now replaces (temporarily) the manager that went the other way.

Finnigan played for the Imps between 1998 and 2002, becoming captain under Phil Stant before leaving for Cheltenham Town just six days before the Robins were due to visit Sincil Bank. He went on to secure promotion twice with Cheltenham before being released last season.

Finnigan's first game in charge will be against Chester City on Boxing Day.
