Howe returns to Peterborough

Rene Howe has returned to Peterborough United after Chris Sutton cut his unsuccessful loan spell short. Howe came to Sincil Bank with a reputation as a man who could get goals in League Two, despite that, he scored just five times for the Imps, only scoring from open play in two games.

Howe had successful loans spells at both Rochdale and Morecambe before Peterborough agreed to let him come to Sincil Bank. His deal was initially to run until the new year, but Chris Sutton has decided to cut his losses and send Howe back.

The loan spell was not successful, only scoring three times from open play and two of those came against hapless Darlington.

No that fussed - didnt set the bank on fire did he? Hopefully Sutton has more players hidden up his sleeve. Thought that Herd was a good player on saturday and Gilmore/Gilmour looked to have good energy when he came on. Is he a midfielder or a striker... he looked light weight for a forward mind you.

Have to admitthis worries me.

Clarke/Fagan have looked decent against BSN opposition, but have looked way, way short in L2 football.

Lets hope he has someone lined up - He may well have only scored 5 but thats about a third of our already woefully short goals tally - He was however on decent dosh and maybe, just maybe we could get someone decent in...

Cureton maybe??

Totally agree he's terrible, he must have the best agent in football to keep getting deals!
