Lincoln City's pathetic excuse for a team put in yet another horrible performance, this time losing out 2-0 to a Bury side who hadn't even scored at home before this game. Bury score two late goals against an Imps side who went off the pitch with an "oh well, at least I get paid to play this badly" look on their face.

The Imps kicked off the game with Scott Kerr just booting it up pitch to no-one and it was an opening that wasn't exactly filled with action, infact it took almost 10 minutes for the first action to come about.....a wasted Bury corner. Sergio Torres shot straight at Brown from 25 yards before Tom Newey's shot was easily claimed by Burch.  Infact, that's pretty much the whole first half as there was pretty much quite nothing happening.

City started the second half reasonably well with Fagan volleying early on, only to see Brown easily save it. Brown wasted a corner before Baker failed to hit the target from the corner of the box.

Oakes replaced Clarke for the Imps and Bury changed Baker and Bishop for Worral and Elliott. Elliott started off quite well and won a free kick early, the ball was delivered in and Sodje headed goalwards, only for Kovacs to clear it off of the line.

Fagan had a one-on-one that hit a post before Hutchinson came on for Fagan.

The second half was looking as slow at the first had but five minutes from time and Ryan Lowe opened the scoring for the hosts, converting a cross from Worrell. Infact, a trend in games between Lincoln and Bury is a Bury substitute scoring a goal, or creating one. Worrall did both as he hit home from an angle for the last kick of the match.

The final whistle was met with a chant of "What a waste of money!" from the City fans.
