With the decade coming to an end, it's time to start reflect on a decade that has been spent entirely in the fourth tier of English football, although we did almost escape twice. We're looking for the input of the fans to bring the top memories of the past ten years.

It's been a strange ten years, starting off with mediocrity, almost getting relegated twice, almost going bust, five Playoff campaigns in a row and finally back to mediocrity. Six managers have held the Sincil Bank management position on a permanent basis, three more taking it up in a caretaker role.

There have been heavy wins such as the 7-1 demolition of Rochdale, as well as memorable 5-0 wins over Barnet and Grimsby. There has been the odd thrashing as well, 5-0 away at Leyton Orient a few days before Christmas in 2001, 5-1 at Grimsby and 5-2 in the Playoff Final. There have been some all time classics, including a memorable 5-3 game between the Imps and Scunthorpe on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in 2003, but then there were plenty that you'd rather forget about.

What we're now asking you is for you to provide your memories of the last ten years. Was it Cardiff stating they would only sign Gavin Gordon from City if he refused to play for Jamaica? Was it running out at the Millennium Stadium as relegation favourites? Or would you rather share the negative side and reflect on the administration?

We will look back at the ten best matches over the last ten years, the ten best goals, the ten biggest turning points and also trying to put together a Lincoln City XI of players during the last decade.

It has to be getting to our first ever major final in 2003....although we were played off the park by a superior Bournemouth team, it was an honour to be there....just gutted it was not at Wembley!!!

Come on Lincoln, lets start the next decade with a promotion!!! Please....I am so success starved having watched since 1979/80 season!!

best away game for me has to be peterborough a few years back when staint ryan amoo played a blinder! my first away game and one that has had me hooked ever since.

Huddersfield away in the playoffs was the best away game.

2-0 up at half time. the imps had the away stand rocking, what an atmosphere.

Shame Booth is a cheating @#$%&

i'll second that.

games like fulham away in carling cup spring to mind also. be hard to look away from both play off finals games though

When we went 2-0 up i was cheering that much i felt my head go funny and i thought i was going to faint. Best atmosphere ive experienced at an imps match.

Bailey coming through the mass of hudders fans to give his farewell as well at the end was also particular memory of that match.

Overall that (Hudders 2nd leg) was the best side of the decade, and had Boothy not dived theatrically we'd have beaten The Stags and who knows where we'd be now?









.......... probably half-way up this blasted basement actually, but at least the present clown wouldn't be in charge, eh?

He wouldn't have had this reputation of being a 'good' manager without that cheating success over us. If we had been given either of those decisions, in the league or playoffs, Jacko would have still been in this league with Hudders

I was thinking about this and the home game versus Torquay was pretty memorable. 1-0 down and then Alex Russell took THAT penalty in front of the Stacey West.....WHAT was he trying to do? Mazza out foxed him and then that dipping shot of Yeo's.

I agree the Fulham game was amazing too, couldn't believe in the 120th minute to lose it was devastating. Best view to have a pint at half time too!!

Beating Barnet 5-0 when Forrester got the hat-trick, Mansfield away with the 4-1 win.....Mazza again saving a penalty.

Lots of great memories but still in Div 4!!
