Imps get Darlington in JPT

Lincoln City have been given a tricky trip in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, a nice lovely game at Darlington. It will be the first of two quick-fire games against the Quakers as Darlington visit Sincil Bank a few days later.

The game will take place in the week commencing August 31st, most likely on the 1st of September, although it would be common sense for the match to be played on the 31st as that date is the bank holiday.

It will be a chance for City to break two hoodoos. City haven't won a knock-out competition game since 2005, nor have they beaten Darlington since 2004.
