After results on Saturday, City will either have a host of derbies next season, or the change for revenge from 2005. Chesterfield's 3-0 win at Bradford wasn't enough as both sides were relegated due to Cheltenham's win, but City could have a trip to Leeds United next season.

After most of their fans claiming on tv that "we're too big to go down," Leeds United are as good as relegated to League One for next season. Their draw against Ipswich and Hull's win means that Leeds now need to not only win, not only hope that Plymouth destroy Hull, but pretty much pray for a miracle not to be relegated. When they are relegated next Sunday, they will be joined by Southend United, the Shrimpers losing at home to Luton to confirm their relegation back to League One at the first attempt.

The Shrimpers are effectively "doing a Brighton." The Seagulls spent a few years hovering around the divisions, not spending more than one season in a single division between 2000/1 and 2005/6, next season will be the third in a row that Southend are in a different division.

Whether City go up or not, they will definitely face a trip to Yorkshire next season after Bradford were thumped at home by Chesterfield to be relegated. Other results meant that Chesterfield were also relegated, meaning that City will have 3 more games within a 2 hours drive if they stay in League 2.

There could also be another trip to Yorkshire next season after York were one of the 4 teams to book their place in the Conference playoffs on the final day of their season. They are one of three ex-League sides to be taking part in the playoffs, the others being Oxford and Exeter. Morecambe are the odd ones out having been non-league for all their history. The Conference playoffs will be hard to predict after all 4 sides finished within 3 points of each.

The race to avoid going down the Conference took another interesting twist on Saturday as well after some important results. Accrington's win against Macclesfield means that they are safe, whilst Macc are the team just one place and one point above Boston United. Wrexham are the other team that could easily get relegated next Saturday, all they have to do is avoid losing by 2 goal at home to Boston to avoid going down. Bury are safe because both Wrexham and Boston can't overtake them.
