Next Saturday will see just one of 75 possible combinations of results happen, what happens to the others if City win? City would definitely finish 5th with a victory, but who would join them in the playoffs and more importantly, who would the Imps' face in the semi final stage?

LINCOLN WIN, SHREWSBURY WIN, BRISTOL ROVERS WIN, STOCKPORT WIN

 

Obviously this situation isn’t likely at all, but just in the off chance it does happen, Lincoln, Shrewsbury and Bristol Rovers will be in the playoff places along with either MK Dons or Swindon. City would face Shrewsbury and Rovers would face MK Dons.

 

LINCOLN WIN, SHREWSBURY WIN, BRISTOL ROVERS DRAW, STOCKPORT WIN

 

Stockport would finish in the playoffs at the expense of Bristol Rovers and would be looking forward to a trip to either Swindon or MK Dons, City would be looking forward to a trip to Gay Meadow.

Would mean nothing at all, it’d be a case of “as you were.” City would face a trip to Shrewsbury, Rovers would go to MK Dons or Swindon.
