Lee Beevers could be out for the remainder of the season after reportedly dislocating his shoulder in a defeat to Wrexham. The defender suffered the injury in a collison with the goalkeeper in the first half, forcing him to go off at half time in possibly his last game for the Imps.

Beevers is one of the favourites to win the "Player of the Season" award following several committed performances this season that have seen some of the his previous critics start to praise him. His 6 goals have proved pivotal and a lucky charm, in the 5 league games that he has scored in, the Imps have lost just once and that was the home game against MK Dons.

If reports coming out of Sincil Bank are true about Beevers' injury, it could potentially see him ruled out for several weeks, quite possibly the rest of the season if the Imps fail to reach the playoffs. It is yet to be confirmed how long he will be out for.

With his contract up in the summer and rumours going around message boards that he's already agreed a move to another club, the rumoured injury could have seen the game against Wrexham be his last, depending on how long the injury will keep him out for.

He joins an injury list that includes Adie Moses and Lee Frecklington.
