Imps target described as a misfit

Lincoln fans who were already sceptical about the potential transfer of Dany N'Guessan, will now be even less encouraged. After a rather unsuccessful loan spell at Boston, City fans have been less than thrilled about the prospect of buying a player who has now been described as a "misfit"

The "Daily Record" newspaper recently ran a report on the Imps interest in the striker before then describing him as a "French misfit" that Rangers would be glad to get rid of. The youngster has never made a professional appearance for arguably Scotland's biggest club since his transfer from Auxerre in 2003. He was loaned out to Boston earlier this season, scoring an below average 5 goals in 26 games for the Pilgrims. Most worryingly, not a single one of those 5 goals corresponded with a Boston win.

With the Imps appearing more than likely to make N'Guessan the second permanent signing of the transfer window, City fans have been left less than excited by the prospect of a player who couldn't even get into the first team towards the end of his loan spell with Boston.
