New fixture dates confirmed

A glut of new fixture dates have been confirmed for a number of Leigh Genesis fixtures that have been postponed in recent weeks. The home fixture against Wakefield, postponed last month because of Wakefield's county cup commitments, has been re-arranged to take place at the Leigh Sports Village Stadium on Saturday 24th April, the final day of the season, a date vacated after Leigh moved their fixture with Prescot, and promptly thumped the Cables 6-0 at the LSV.

The home fixture against Radcliffe Borough has been rescheduled to take place on Wednesday 3rd February 2010 with a 7.45pm kick off at the LSV; the original tie having fallen foul to Radcliffe's progress in the FA Cup.

Finally, the away fixture against Salford City, originally scheduled to take place this Saturday before Salford earned an FA Cup replay against Blue Square North side Hyde United, will now take place at Moor Lane on Saturday 30th January 2010 with a 3pm kick off.

As such, the only fixtures that are currently without a date are the UniBond League Challenge Cup Second Round game against Mossley, and the league fixture at home to Harrogate Railway Athletic.

Matt,I thought the Mossley Cup tie was Weds 28 Oct, its on the fixture list on the Official website.
