Sephton, Scott

Young defender who, having previously represented the Leigh Genesis reserve side, made his first team debut in midfield inthe FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round tie with Cammell Laird in November 2008, scoring his side's only goal in a 5-1 defeat.

Sefton made his full league debut just a week later as Genesis lost 3-0 to North Ferriby United in a UniBond Premier League game played on November 8th at Hurst Cross, home of Ashton United.

Having originally started as a midfielder, Sephton has found himself converted in to a right back, where he now makes the majority of his appearances after a successful pre-season in the summer of 2009, whilst also filling in at centre back.

Scott made a goalscoring start to the 2010/2011 season, putting Leigh 1-0 up against Curzon Ashton in a game they eventually lost 2-1 at Crilly Park.
