Connah's Quay game called off

The upcoming friendly fixture away to Welsh Premier League side Gap Connah's Quay, scheduled to take place on Saturday 9th August, has unfortunately had to be postponed, with Leigh Genesis apoligising for any inconvience that may be caused by this announcement.

There won't be a new fixture arranged for 9th August, which means that next Tuesday's short trip to Salford City will be Leigh's final pre-season friendly of the summer.

It is hoped that the two clubs may meet in a friendly in the summer of 2009.
