Reports today suggest that defender Steven Taylor has rejected a new and improved contract offered by Newcastle United, paving the wave for his exit at the end of the season. Taylor who has previously turned down contracts, holding out instead for a better deal could now be shown the door.
The 24 year old had previously caught the eye of several high profile clubs, including Tottenham and Liverpool, however with very few games this season due to injury, it would seem the only names being banded around at the moment at Stoke City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Despite being a key player prior to his injury, the team managed to keep up pace without him and form a very close team spirit on the pitch proving that his team-mates could pick up where he left off, so would you keep him or let him leave?
