Both managers have spoken ahead of tomorrow's 3rd round FA Cup game with Plymouth head coach Paul Mariner calling the tie "glamorous" and Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton confident his side can get back to their winning ways.

Marniner told BBC Radio Devon;

"I'm a traditionalist in football terms and going back to my childhood it was the FA Cup and Division One and that was it.

It's a glamorous tie for us - it's a club steeped in tradition that's going to be coming down with fantastic support.

It's just another game for us to put our methods together. But we just want to win a football game, whether it's the FA Cup or the league, we want to keep our form going."

Whilst Hughton told The Chronicle;

"There has been a little bit of disappointment, but that comes with the feeling of not winning after such a good run.

We just want to get back to winning again, and Plymouth offer us the chance to do that.

The Derby game was certainly a performance that was good enough to win the game, and on another night, we would have.

I'm quite confident if we can keep that level of performance up, we'll win a lot more games than we lose.

We've kept this run going for a long time, and teams will be trying to end it every time we play.

Derby certainly tried their hardest the other night, and even though they've been struggling, it's testament to how hard this division is.

Plymouth are a team from our division, and they'll certainly be up for taking us on, especially in light of their last two results."
