83% Would Choose Simpson To Sign Over Other Loan Deals

Danny Simpson came out top in the Tyne-Talk poll “If you could pick 1 loan player to sign for Newcastle United in January who would you choose?” Simpson who was loaned by Manchester United until January received 83% of the vote. Aston Villa’s Marlon Harewood was the voter’s second choice with 8% of the vote, whilst Blackburn Rovers player Zurab Khizanishvili received just 5%.

Another 4% of the 422 people who took part in the last 2 months decided they would rather see none of the current loan signings, signed up by the club.

Simpson is not a decent player. He was just as bad at Rovers when I saw him play down here. Decicion making is shocking! He is ok on the ball and not too slow or weak, but his decicion making lets him down. If it wasn't for Coloccini and Taylor, Simpson would have cost us goals! At Blackburn he always had Samba or Nelson up his @#$%& just incase he ballsed it up!

I think he is good and one of the best right backs in this division, maybe in the premiership he will struggle but then so will the rest of the team. Lets get him for free in the summer and worse case he will be a squad player. With the lack of cash we are going to have next year we need to be bagging as many free targets who can offer us something and I think he will

He'd make a decent second choice right back in the top division, and you can't argue with a free, young player.
