Chris Hughton has named Leon Best in his starting line up offering the newcomer his home debut alongside all four of his other January signings. Jonas Gutierrez and Danny Simpson return from injury to the starting eleven, whilst Peter Lovenkrands and the recovered Shola Ameobi start on the bench. Michael Chopra captains the Cardiff team.

I don't understand Lovenkrands role with this team. Why start two big forwards and Nolan?
