Imps keeper Alan Marriott has agreed to a new 3 year deal meaning it'll be 9 years at Lincoln when the contract expires. Infact, if Marriott plays every game from now until then he could end up as the record appearance holder at Sincil Bank, overtaking Grant Brown.
Marriott has already played well over 250 games for the Imps and injuries aside, he should get very very close to bettering Grant Brown's 406 League appearances for the Imps between 1989 and 2002. Marriott signed from Spurs in 1999 and has been a virtual ever present since.
Marriott looked almost certain to leave the Imps in the summer and was apparantly all set to move back down to London for Brentford but chose to sign a new deal with the Imps despite also being linked late on with Boston United.
