Imps have swapped defender Dean West for Boston striker, Martin Carruthurs after the Imps slow start to the season. The striker wanted to join in the summer but wanted to much money which Keith instead decided to use to get West who is now surplus to requirements.
Both players have taken over the other's respective contracts so Carruthurs will be here until the end of the season and with him, Taylor-Fletcher and Yeo all up front, we're looking at potential 50 goals between the 3 as Carruthurs was prolific at local rivals, Scunthorpe.
Carruthurs never had much luck against the Imps whilst at Scunny but was always a problem to play against and is likely to score at least 15 goals this season, given even chance. Imps face most prominent memory of Carruthurs is when he scored twice in Peterborough's 5-1 win over the Imps in the 1997/8 season.
West came to Sincil Bank in the summer but after starting all 4 of the first games, he was dropped and hasn't played since.
