With yet another fine performance at Sincil Bank, I think it's time to share my thanks with all those responsible for all the joy I have had watching Lincoln City recently. *WARNING*MAY CONTAIN SARCASM*WARNING*

Firstly, I would like Peter Jackson for getting rid of all those skilful players from Sincil Bank, damn their pesky nature, who needs defenders that can defend? Who needs midfielders that can create and pass? Who needs strikers who can score? Thank you Peter for showing us that football isn't all about good all around play, why have good players when you can trick 1,700 people into thinking spending their well earned money on a season ticket was a good idea?

Who needs to keep our three leading scorers from last season? Who needs to keep Adrian Patulea when you can have Jamie Clarke? Who needs Lee Frecklington when you can have Scott Kerr? Who needs Dany N'Guessan when you have Lenell John-Lewis?

I'm sure we all thank Simon Clark for giving Chris Sutton no margin for error what-so-ever ahead of him officially starting as manager. Not only did Clark have the genius to constantly play shit, and yes I do mean SHIT, players such as John-Lewis and Jamie Clarke, but he had the tactical genius to play a 4-5-1 formation when we've only scored seven goals all season. Thank you for being no different than Peter Jackson.

Then I would also like to thank Scott Kerr, the wavey armed one, for just booting the ball aimlessly into the Notts County half from the kick off, resulting in Notts County scoring a goal near enough straight from kick off.

Scott, seen on the right in his casual clothes, is a fantastic Captain who brings everything a team needs, the ability to hide away during every match, shift the blame onto others and most importantly, shout "Come on lads" whilst rapidly clapping his hands if there's no tomorrow.

I would like to thank Lenell John-Lewis for actually appearing to give a crap by putting on his kit, granted he may not have been interested when he got out on the pitch, but thank you for your dedication to the cause Lenell. It's great to know that when you're not flashing your Argos brought jewelry around nightclubs, you actually find Lincoln City worthy enough to don our football kit. We are not worthy!

captain kerr column's should be a cracker in Thursday's echo.
Not the first time he's given the ball away in our half at home lately.

just like ot know who the skillful defenders and creative midfielders were when jacko took over....we were concedeing goals left right and centre and heading for relegation...as for freck...life as a div 2 club is that you are a selling club.Tactics tonight were astonishing....were at home..set the tone for the night...and too think some on here wanted clarke as permenant manager

That is a fair comment, but I think what winds most Imps fans (well me) is that he doesn't seem to try.....I remember when Steven Gerrard (arguably the best midfielder in the world) broke into the Liverpool team, he was delighted even though he was playing at right full back - he was happy to be playing football, played well and eventually got his place where he wanted it. LL should show is passion and dedication for the team that pays him to be a PROFESSIONAL footballer.
I think it is fair to say Aaron Brown is the same - doesn't seem to care when playing LB but seems to be one of our best when playing LM.
Cian Hughton is a good example of a player released by Tottenham....the best he could do is play for us!! Sorry but true....but he tries and shows the fans that he wants to succeed.

LJL is quite simply the worst player I have seen at the club, in perhaps 15 years.

Even if he is playing as a winger he should be able to adapt and come inside. . He hasn't the brains nor technique to do so though, he should be nicknamed Jigsaw as he goes to pieces in the box.

In my opinion keep, Burch, Hone, possibly S.clarke and Howe, Hutch and Torres, the rest bye ,bye.

As for Kerr - I honestly don't know what to say.. If he were a horse , well you know the rest. He is utter dross.

Jackson - Officially City's worst manager.

Hi Norman. Nice to see you are your positive self again.
Not that I particularly disagree with you. LJL was poor last night. I think his boots are rubber because every time he receives a pass the ball bounces six feet away. I am coming to the conclusion he is not worthy of the shirt.
Kerr is out of favour at the minute and I can see why. Since Freck left he has flattered to deceive. He had a decent finish to last season but for the past 18 months he has been generally pants. I have been watching City for years and am yet to see us score from either a Kerr free kick or corner. I cringe every time he stands over a dead ball. Perhaps it is time for him to move on too. I certainly would like to see a new captain.
I disagree re Jackson. IMHO I think we would have been destined for lower/mid table if he had stayed, but the football would have been rubbish, and gates would have drifted away. As it is, I would suggest we are now in a relegation battle.

sorry but I cannot see how LJL can be so castigated when he is playing out of postion.....to suggest the colour of his boots reflects either his personality or work ethic is simply bizzare to me. Maybe he's a young player who in his short career has worked for 4 managers, been injury plagued and is simply lacking confidance...oh and he's not only playing out of postion but is a right footded striker playing on the left wing......Robbie Keane as an example played out Left for spurs recently and many spurs fans passed the same comments about him as have been stated here...lazy, not bothered lacking passion etc etc etc....folowing week plays as a strikers and scores 4....give the kid a chance, how is our youth policy ever going to to work if some of you lot continue to spout this evry time a kid has a rough trot....maybe as with the manager a little patience neeeds to be shown........find it somewhat hypochritical that many support Butcher who IMO offers nothing and never has done...and i stated this on his return...and slate a young kid who has shown he has talent when played in the right position!

In response to the above 2 posts.. Hi Kevin6 , I am not negaative, I am a realist and have watched City for over 30 years, this crop is not fit to wear the shirt bar a couple. As for Jacko I think you are wrong and I believe it is backed up with statistics, ie. He had a worse record than most recent managers and of course he is to blame, he gotrid of players and replaced them with dross as is being proved , I would love to know who you do hold accountable?

As for Impsur if you rate LJL you could suggest to me how you come to this conclusion? Can't pass, no touch, no final ball, poor goal sccoring record, no tactical awarenesss... the list is endless , oh and more importantly not giving a @#$%& about the city, club and its supporters.

And for every Keane played out of position there is a Kuyt, Rooney, Anelka, Bellamy... need I mention more.

He will be out within 2 weeks anyway so who cares really.

I didnt state i rated him just that i didnt like the way some were over the top thats all.....i do believe he has a better chance at making it as a striker where his pace and power can be utilised to his and the teams benifit. It just frustrates me when young players who are still developing are got at as LJL is at the moment.Maybe his touch has gone due to the pressure he feels under?

Super post, Kevin. You have hit the nail firmly on the head with the Kerr comments. Mind you, don't we all miss Freck?
