Saturday's trip to Morecambe's Christie Park has been postponed. Although the inspection was due at 4pm, the announcement came at 3:27pm that the game would not be taking place, meaning City will get a seaside trip on a Tuesday night....doesn't that sound delightful?
City were hoping to emulate last season's 2-1 win at Morecambe but will now have to wait for that to be possible.
Good idea to call it off today before anybody sets off on what is a very long journey tomorrow.
Genuine question, what happens if you've already booked train tickets? I guess the supporters coaches will save your seat or refund you but the various train companies might not? Would anyone go anyway and try to catch another local match?
Happy New Year to you all by the way!
It's not for me, I was just wondering what other people would do in that situation. I might be tempted to go anyway and jump off the train a little earlier to see if there was another local game I could get to.
