Part 3 of our round up of the 93 players who've played for Lincoln in the last five years sees several players from different countries. We have a New Zealander, Irishmen, a Frenchman and a Swiss player. However, this group of players are mainly those that only put in a few appearances for the club.

Guy Ipooua joined the Imps on loan from Doncaster Rovers in the 2004/5 and made 6 appearances for the Imps without impressing at all.

3 goals in 23 appearances might not seem that impressive, but Lenell John-Lewis is currently showing the potential to become a very good player. He is one of many products of the youth team that currently feature in the first team.

From one player who could hardly be described as a tall man, to another in Dean Keates. The 5'6 midfielder played 24 games for City in the 2005/6 season before leaving for personal reasons....ending up at Walsall later the same day. His 4 goals at Sincil Bank were all of decent quality and he is probably the only decent freekick taker that we've had in the last 5 years.

Adam Kerley was another product of the youth system but one that was never really given a chance by Keith Alexander. He made just 2 appearances for City before being released.

Scott Kerr has made 137 appearances since joining the Imps in 2005 from Scarborough. He has scored a respectable 7 goals in that time and is the current team captain. He recently signed a new contract at Sincil Bank.

Yet another product of the youth system to come through recently has been Gary King. He was credited with his first City goal against Brentford, although it should have realistically gone down as an own goal because the goalkeeper was responsible for it going in the net. King has played 6 goals for the Imps.

Richard Liburd represented the Imps 27 times in 2003/4 and missed two of the easiest chances you're ever likely to see in an away game at Kidderminster.

Much like Liburd, Adrian Littlejohn used to play in the Premiership but made virtually no impact in his 9 apearances at the club in 2004/5. He went on to play against the Imps for Rushden later than season.

With 243 appearances, Alan Marriott made more appearances than anyone else during the last 5 years. The only season in that time that he played every game was in the 2003/4 season.

Rory May was signed up after a trial during the 2002/3 season from Coventry City. He made 9 appearances in 2003/4 and did precisely sod all.

Paul Mayo spent two spells at the club during the last 5 years, making 107 appearances and scoring 13 goals in that time. He left to go to Watford just days after he had scored our second against Hull and he returned just over a year later in the summer of 2005.

City had a habit of buying a player from Northern Ireland when Keith was incharge. One such player was Gareth McAuley. The defender scored the goals that got us to the Playoff Final in 2004/5, those were two of a fairly decent scoring record for a defender, scoring 8 times in 84 appearances before leaving for Leicester City.

Another player who played for the Imps and went on to play in the Championship was Jamie McCombe. The giant defender took his time settling in at Sincil Bank but it was obvious after a time why he was once scouted by Premiership teams. He also scored 8 times in 100 appearances for the Imps but he left for Bristol City in 2006 and almost won back to back promotion with them.

If ever there was an example of one of Keith's more curious signings, you've got to look no further than Niall McNamara. He joined from Belper Town in 2003 and was released a year later.....then was strangely offered another season at Sincil Bank. How the hell he played 14 games for this club will remain a mystery for years to come.

However, Keith certainly wasn't the only manager we've had who brings in crap players. A shining example of this being when Schofield and Deehan brought Junior Mendes to our club. You could count the loanee's positive contributions on one hand during his 11 appearances in 2006/7.

Leon Mettam played 6 games, scored once and got sent off once. Then he had the arrogance to claim that City would regret releasing him. He joined Stamford and he helped get them relegated.....yeah....we've missed out on a club legend there.

Meheta Molango just the Imps on trial from Brighton in 2005 and impressed during the pre-season, scoring a hatful of goals. He couldn't transfer that to the first team though and he scored just once in his 14 appearances for the club.

Paul Morgan was our most valuable player for several years, his contributions helped us to the Playoffs but his problems started in 2005/6. He suddenly started becoming a liability and we were better without him in the defence. His lost his captaincy and left the Imps at the end of the 2006/7 season. He made 151 appearances since 2003, scoring once.

Another defender who only scored once in the last 5 years was Adie Moses. The defender joined the Imps just under a year after he had got thrashed by the Imps as part of the Crewe side. He made 54 injury ravaged appearances for City.

One of the few Frenchman to ever play for the Imps, Dany N'Guessan is certainly proving to be a frustrating figure. His 49 appearances for the Imps have certainly seen a vast array of differing performances, scoring 7 goals along the way.

From one player who is inconsistant to one who was consistantly crap. Shane Nicholson rejoined the Imps on loan from Chesterfield and he didn't put in a single decent performance in the 8 appearances he made.

New Zealander Allan Pearce scored a hatrick in the 2003/4 pre-season at Lincoln Moorlands, but that didn't impress Keith and he gave the former Barnsley man just 5 cameo appearances in that season.

Greg Pearson was apparantly set to take the country by storm but he didn't show any glimpses of that in his 3 appearances for the Imps on loan from West Ham. He did score against the Imps for Rushden in the 2005/6 season.

The final player in this round up was another loanee, this time it's Nathan Peat from Hull City. The defender made 13 appearances for the Imps and generally didn't do a bad job but he was later dropped for Kevin Sandwith.

I'd go as far to say that Dean Keates is the only decent free-kick taker we've had since David Clarke!

I'd say Keven Sandwith was better than keates at free kicks, but our best signing on that first list has got to be McAuley
