Lincoln City will be hoping to give Peter Jackson a great send off by defeating Wycombe Wanderers at Sincil Bank for only the second time at Sincil Bank in the Football League. It will be a very tough task for the Imps because of Wycombe's usual Playoff push, although City will gather hope having outplayed Wycombe whilst still at 11 players in the reverse fixture.

Lincoln's only League victory at Sincil Bank over Wycombe came last season when Jeff Hughes, who was actually giving a crap for once, scored the only goal of a game that the visitors dominated. It was a change to the game in the previous season in which City have absolutely dominated and took the lead thanks to Marvin Robinson, two Marriott screw-ups later and Wycombe had somehow beaten City.

The gap to the bottom two was closed to 11 points on Tuesday night with Mansfield's draw with Bury. That gap could potentially be up to 14 points if the Imps do win due to the Stags playing away at Wrexham.

City will be without Stallard through suspension, Freck and Croft miss out through injury, but other than that the Imps have a virtually fully fit squad, meaning Marriott will probably line up with Ridley, Hone, Beevers and Green in the defence. The midfield is anyone's guess at the best of times with only Scott Kerr seemingly guaranteed to start.

Alex Morfaw could make his debut for the Imps if he plays but he will more than likely start on the bench. Lenny John-Lewis, Louis Dodds and Dany N'Guessan will more than likely fill up the rest of the midfield with Jamie Forrester and Ben Wright up front.

Wycombe are without Sergio Torres, the midfielder has broken a bone that 99.9% of people don't even have. Matt Bloomfield is also a slight doubt for the visitors.

They come into the game on a run of 3 games unbeaten and like the Imps, have lost just 3 times this calender year so far. They won their last away game at Rochdale last Saturday and haven't lost on the road since a 6-0 thrashing at Wycombe Wanderers, coming just a few days after City had won 3-1 against the Hatters. Their last trip to this area of the come came back on January 8th with a 4-0 win at Mansfield.
