Lincoln City's trip to Notts County next month has been made all ticket due to the idiotic actions of a small section of fans in the game between the sides last season last season. City have been given just over 1000 tickets for the game, that despite City taking well over 2000 fans in two of the three games between the sides over the last three games.

Last season's trip to Meadow Lane saw one of the worst performances of the season as a distinctively average Notts side made mince-meat of City. After that defeat several fans stayed behind and broke some of the seats, one of whom (Dean Fillingham) was stupid enough to boast about it on this site's message board about his antics.

Although the top of the Kop End already had several seats missing, the actions of people like Fillingham made it even worse. He wasn't arrested though, but 17 other City supporters were for varying reasons.

Due to those varying actions, City have been given just 1,100 tickets for an away end that holds over 5,000. City would have easily sold those tickets in the previous 3 seasons. In the 2004/5 season a brilliant support of 2,552 saw the Imps lose 1-0 at Meadow Lane thanks to a controversial Mark Stallard penalty. Notts brought just 1,169 to Sincil Bank that season.

The following season saw City dominate and take a deserved lead before Jamie McCombe deflected Scoffham's shot into his own net. In the second half Notts took the lead through a Baudet free kick in front of an Imps travelling support of 1,478. Notts brought a miserable 843 to Sincil Bank that season.

Last season saw the Imps take 2,472 fans for one of the worst performances of the season as Jay Smith give Notts an early lead before two former Imps, Jason Lee and Lawrie Dudfield extend Notts' lead. Spencer Weir-Daley pulled one back before Kerr missed a penalty. Notts took 1,860 to Sincil Bank that year.

Notts brought just 1,060 fans to Sincil Bank this season, meaning that if City sell their allocation then we will again beat the County travelling support, although the actions of idiots will make that difficult.
